Hemsworth Town Council's football facilities include a revolutionary 3G Astroturf training pitch with floodlighting, changing rooms, on-site parking, a full-sized grass pitch, a mini soccer pitch and street snooker.

3G Astroturf Training Pitch

Third generation (3G) astroturf is a rubber crumb and sand filled surface which offers a natural and realistic playing surface ideal in almost all weather conditions.
The pitch is floodlit making it an excellent facility for evening training sessions, and can be split into two to accommodate smaller training requirements.

Street Snooker

Street Snooker makes excellent target practise and will open at Sandygate Football Facility on Bank Holiday Monday 27 May 2013.

Changing Room Block

There are two separate changing rooms, with toilet and shower facilities, as well as an official’s changing room.  There is also a small social area, equiped with vending machines.
The changing room block has excellent disabled facilities.

Prices

Full 3G pitch - £60 per hour, including VAT
Half 3G pitch - £30 per hour, including VAT

The facility is available to hire for corporate events and tournaments. Discounts may be available for charter standard / junior clubs.
